Oxfam: Emergency Appeal, Earthquake in Asia

An earthquake measuring at least 7.6 has hit Asia. Worst affected is Kashmir, but the quake has also hit north India and Afghanistan.

Oxfam is there

Oxfam has people on the ground in the affected region and following their initial assessments they are gearing up to supply emergency aid to approximately 300,000 people in some of the areas worst affected by the earthquake.

Oxfam has a history of working in the area and will be mobilising its existing partners and resources in the response.
