Auditing the Auditors

Oxford academics have reviewed over 100 National Audit Office ‘Value for Money’ reports as part of a contract that Isis has with the NAO, the body that scrutinises public spending on behalf of Parliament.

It is said that the biggest obstacles for reform in Oxford came from four Cs. The sources were Clerics, Classics, Conservatives and Colleges. Yet majority of reform which Engineering Dept. benefited from, started by people who were good college men, more often clergymen who probably read classics!
